On a serious and harsh note, I saw my dad with a hardon while he was "date-raping" (not called that back in the early 60s) a barfly. I wish that I had never seen him in that condition, especially doing what he was doing. 90% of the time he left his door open. I hated my father for what he did to my mom (put her in the hospital in traction four times) and the several women he "dated." I learned lots from my father -- not to do the things he did. That was 50 years ago and I have never forgot those lessons.

Now, do I wish I had seen his erection under some opposite circumstances? Yes, if it had meant we had a really close relationship and maybe showered after working out or something like that ... natural and "innocent." Since marrying 38 years ago, I have never had physical contact with anyone other than my wife (and myself, of course). I greatly enjoy our sex life, but have had a SSA for a long time. I enjoy looking at a man's body and would like a 'non-gay' but physical relationship after developing a full and respectful relationship with another "manly" guy, such as a workout partner.

P.S. I ought to clarify that I wouldn't expect him to be erect in the gym showers. However, if I had seen after a shower at home, for example, I don't think it would be a big deal. If he were passed out or some such thing, I would cover him up out of respect, but most likely no big f***ing deal!
